THE ALLIANCE 2013 SUMMER SOCCER CAMP for boys & girls ages 8-16
MONDAY, JULY 8 TO FRIDAY, JULY 12
CORALVILLE YOUTH SPORTS PARK Half day camp - 9:00am to 12:30pm
Full day camp - 9:00am to 3:30pm (includes 1/2 hour lunch break)
Cost:
$120 - half day (includes t-shirt and soccer ball) - $135 after June 30
$195 - full day (includes t-shirt and soccer ball) - $210 after June 30
Additional family members can register for $100 (half day) or $165 (full day); $115 & $180 after June 30
Camp Philosophy:
The Alliance Summer Soccer Camp will allow players of all abilities to get the touches on the ball that they need to get to the next level while having fun at the same time. Individual skills will provide the foundation of the camp while small-sided games will allow the players to practice and perfect the newly learned skills in a fun, challenging environment.
Camp Staff:
The camp will be run and overseen by director of Coaching, Paul Dayrell. In addition to Alliance staff coaches, our camp staff will include college coaches with both domestic and international experience. All have a passion and love of the game that will make the week a truely unique and rewarding experience.
Daily Schedule:
9:00am to 9:30am - Daily announcements and warmups
9:30am to 10:50am - Technical training session
10:50am to 11:00am - Coaches demonstration
11:00am to 11:20am - Break and soccer quiz/competition
11:20am to 12:30pm - Tactical session and games
12:30pm - Half day campers leave
12:30pm to 1:00pm - Lunch (provide own)
1:00pm to 2:30pm - Technical training session
2:30pm to 2:45pm - Afternoon break and skill challenge
2:45pm to 3:30pm - Scrimmage
Parental Waiver:
I hereby release the City of Coralville and all Iowa City Alliance staff from any and all liability regarding my child’s participation in the camp, including accidental injury sustained and/or any medical problems resulting from involvement in the camp. I also give permission for emergency medical treatment to be administered if necessary in the event that I cannot be reached. Furthermore, I certify that my child is physically fit and able to perform all program activities.
