Ray Champlin

    Ray Champlin, from Mt. Pleasant, is playing soccer at Concordia University Wisconsin, for the Concordia Falcons. He was recruited by Coach Saleska for a forward position. Champlin was a starting forward for the Mt. Pleasant Panthers for four years, team captain senior year and broke the school scoring record, scoring the most goals in a season with 24 goals and 18 assists. He was selected to be part of the All Hawkeye Team and Soccer Player of the Year.


Champlin played with the Iowa City Alliance throughout his high school career and contributes his success to his the time he spent on the field training and playing under Coach Dave Rosenthal and the Iowa City Alliance.
