Bart Watson
Bart is attending Stanford University, and given that Stanford is
top-10 nationally in soccer, elected to switch sports. He
tried out for the Stanford Men's Ultimate (Frisbee) Team (abbreviated
SMUT in typical Stanford fashion) and was one of two freshman to make
Varsity. His speed, quickness, and excellent catching ability
earned him a spot as a forward. SMUT has been among the top
Ultimate Frisbee teams in the country over the past 10 years, regularly
winning their Regional Tournament. They have played in the
National Finals several times, and are determined to win it this year.
The season opened in January in Santa Barbara, CA and continues through
May. P.S. Bart earned a 3.8 GPA in his first quarter at
Stanford and is considering majoring in Political Science or Economics.
