Weather Policy and Contingency Plan

Call: Please call the University of Iowa Recreational Services Hotline after 3pm at 353-3000 when the weather suggests that the fields may be closed. On accessing the hotline press 3 then press 2 for rainout information pertaining to the U of I Recreational Fields.

If the Hawkeye Complex is closed due to wet conditions practices are cancelled Only extreme adverse weather conditions such as storms, tornado conditions, severe cold and so on would see practices cancelled, and this information will be posted on the website and called in and e-mailed to relevant parent managers as necessary on the day of practice.

If the U of I Fields are closed due to inclement weather, practice and technical skills program will be cancelled.

Kixx Wed & Fri: If the Lower Finkbine Fields are closed due to inclement weather on Wednesdays or Fridays, the KIXX Program will be cancelled.
